Arising Collective was proud to sponsor this past weekend’s New Stages Theatre production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore at Market Hall in downtown Peterborough. A funny and poignant show, it was also a fundraiser for Lumara/Camp Kerry, a bereavement retreat program for families coping with grief and loss. Thanks to the cast & crew for a job well done!

This data validates what we've been hearing from organizations we work with. Growing community needs, and the increasing complexity of needs - especially at the intersections of income insecurity, mental health, housing, substance use, etc - result in an increased burden on staff with no additional resources to bridge the gap.
ONN conducted our fourth annual sector-wide survey earlier this year. The results are in, with responses from nearly 1,400 nonprofits, charities and grassroots organizations across Ontario. We are at a tipping point. The continued downward trends have the potential to bring the nonprofit sector in Ontario to the brink of collapse. If nothing changes by 2026, the critical work of nonprofits will be lost, affecting the economy, and the health and wellness of Ontarians. All survey resources including our new report with policy recommendations, can be found here: https://lnkd.in/gefDZiwx Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey, Community Researchers, and our partners for supporting this work.
